Liguria Foods Hires Upper Midwest Regional Manager

Liguria Foods, the country’s premier pepperoni and dried sausage manufacturer, is pleased to announce the addition of Pete Hahn to the staff. Pete will cover the Upper Midwest region as the Regional Manager.

Pete began his selling career in 1994 and has successfully sold for multiple companies in the food industry. His career has spanned sales for dairy proteins, specialty ingredients, frozen prepared foods, soups, sauces and pizza.

Peter has sold in the retail, industrial ingredient and foodservice arenas. He is happy to return to foodservice in his role at Liguria Foods. “Foodservice operators are entrepreneurs, I enjoy working closely with them as I can help make a one-to-one difference for a person that is building their own business. Ingredients sales are interesting and technical, but at the end of the day, I’m selling function and food cost, pizza operators are creating art and business success.”

Pete has a BS in Geology and an MBA in Marketing. He earned both degrees at the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana. Peter was a Naval Flight Officer in the United States Marine Corps where he earned the rank of Captain during a seven-year active duty career.

“The response from customers has been very positive,” said Mark Majewski, Liguria’s General Manager.  “Selling premium products requires knowledge and passion. Pete is passionate about our business and loves to get in front of customers and teach them how to make more money by investing a little more in quality and earning the opportunity to sell for higher prices as a result.”

Pete enjoys hunting, fishing and boating. He has one son, who is 19 years old. Liguria Foods is thrilled to have Pete and hope both old and new customers enjoy his positive attitude.
